(27 November 2017, Hong Kong) To celebrate the successful development of the Jeju Myths & History Park project in Seogwang-ri, Andeok-myeon, the Seogwangseo-ri Gotjawal Soccer Competition organized by the Seogwangseo-ri Youth Group was successfully held at Seogwangseo-ri village Football Ground yesterday. Members of the Seogwangseo-ri Youth Group Football Team, Jeju Free International City Development Centre and Landing Jeju Development Co., Ltd (“LJDC”) Soccer Club participated in the competition.

Meaningfully, the first Seogwangseo-ri Gotjawal Soccer Competition was held in 2015, which was also the ground-breaking year of Jeju Shinhwa World, Jeju Island’s first integrated resort developed in the Jeju Myths & History Park. Emphasizing friendship, the soccer competition helped strengthen friendship between local residents and developers, creating the foundation for a win-win situation.

On the day of the competition, Ko Kyoungwan, President of Seogwangseo-ri Youth Group, Kang Cheolyong, Chief of Seogwangseo-ri village, Lee Jeonggeun, CEO of Seogwang village Corporation, Hyun Sangchul, General Manager of JDC Tourism Industry Department, Chung Jintaek, Director of LJDC Public Affairs and other related parties participated in the event. Soccer players were able to spend meaningful time together by fully leveraging their skills and interacting with professional players to enjoy an enthusiastic match.

Ko Kyoungwan, President of Seogwangseo-ri Youth Group said, “Seogwang-ri, Andeok-myeon is welcoming the public with a new image, and will gradually become the next sightseeing hot spot in Jeju. Our soccer teams got to reunite for the Gotjawal Soccer Competition and our relationship has been further strengthened. We will strive to develop the Jeju Myths & History Park into a valuable sightseeing spot for our future generations.”

The trophy of the competition among the three parties was won by Landing Jeju Development Co., Ltd Soccer Club FC Landing with two wins.
